I have been involved in photography for 19 years which is now more than half of my lifetime.  I have a particular love for mountains, lochs and rivers and this would explain why my camera is out of its bag in Scotland more than anywhere else.

But my real love for photography involves capturing people, their expressions, emotions,  personalities and telling their story.

I have a relaxed and non intrusive approach to photography which allows me to capture people in the most natural way possible.

I have covered many events and Weddings in County Down, Antrim, Armagh and Southern Ireland, but no destination is too far away for me and I am very much willing to travel to meet your requirements.

I am no photoshop wizard………..I am a photographer.  I want to be behind the camera and not in front of the computer.

“I see something special and show it to the camera. The moment is held until someone sees it, then its theirs”   –     Sam Abell

“If I could tell the story in words I wouldn’t need to lug around a camera”   –    Lewis Wickes Hine

If you have read this far thank you and hopefully you maybe interested to know abit more about me?

I have lived in Newtownards all my life, I have a wife and three beautiful Children, Scott, Shannon and Abi,

I would say that it was most definitely my children that made me realise the importance of Portrait photography. I can remember that feeling I got when I took my first proper photo of them, It now hangs on my wall at home and will remain their for the rest of my life.

I still get that buzz with my clients, of course I don’t know them as well as my own kids but just getting that shot… whether it be the way a Bride and Groom first make eye contact at the bottom of the aisle or the way a child looks at its parents for just that split second, when captured with a camera…………you just cant beat it!

Thank you for taking the time to view my site and I really hope to hear from you
